So, we were discussing this a little in the shoutbox. Going off of what characters have said throughout the show, we can assume that colonization of the Earth began ~6000 years ago and the rebellion took place at the scale of an all out war ~5000 years ago. Given that information...
So it looks like we've got some real Golden Girls here lol What do you think? Are my approximations about in the right ball park? Did I forget anyone (fusions and very minor characters aside)? If you disagree, please let me know how you came to your own conclusions!
- Pearl ≥ 5000 ← seen during the rebellion, is from/has been to Homeworld
- Rose Quartz > 6000 ← is from/has been to Homeworld
- Sapphire > 5000 ← is from Homeworld
- Ruby ≥ 6000 ← is seen during the early stages of the rebellion, unknown if from/has been to Homeworld
- Garnet = 5000-6000 ← first formed during the beginning of the rebellion (obviously, not the sum of her parts lol)
- Jasper > 5000 ← seen fighting in a flashback to the war, implied to have been from Homeworld
- Lapis Lazuli ≥ 6000 ← is from Homeworld, knew it well enough to call it "home" and long for it
- Peridot < 5000 ← knows only historical facts about the war, views the Crystal Gems' technology as "archaic"
- Amethyst ≤ 5000 ← emerged from the Kindergarten after it was put out of use, no mention of having fought in the war, has never been to Homeworld
- The Diamonds > 6000 ← most likely from Homeworld, seem to have been in control since long before the war
