Name/Gem: Kornerupine
Gem Placement: forehead
Weapon: 4 telekinetically controlled, sharp, heavy diamonds that can cut enemies or deal them blunt force trauma
Allegiance: Crystal Gems
Fusion Dance: Broadway Jazz
About: Kornerupine defected from the Homeworld forces colonizing the Earth when she heard of Rose Quartz's rebellion. She fought valiantly in the war to defend the Earth until her gem was severely damaged in battle. Kornerupine was among the first gems to volunteer for bubbling once she started to experience symptoms of corruption. Bubbling was a very new technique at the time and even less was known about what would happen to bubbled gems then than is now known in the current timeline. Because she was bubbled so early into her corruption, Kornerupine never developed into a monster. She is released and reformed in the current timeline; but her gem is still cracked. When testing out her abilities, she discovered that because of her cracked gem, she has much difficulty controlling her weapon. Out of fear of hurting those around her, Kornerupine rarely summons her weapon for this reason. She is very curious and enjoys exploring nature. Kornerupine is never shy to ask questions. Bugs are her favorite Earth animal. Her favorite things about Earth's topography are its mountains and oceans. She is protective of her friends and often shows her care for them with physical affection like hugs and hand holding.
